For over 25 years, Cy Curnin has been connecting with audiences through his music. Known for evocative lyrics and distinctive vocals, he developed a solid reputation in modern rock circles as the lead singer of The Fixx. In recent years, Cy has also carved out a solo career that has produced a number of CDs, including Mayfly (2005), The Returning Sun (2007) and his current release, Solar Minimum (May, 2009).

Cy Curnin has been a loyal supporter of Love Hope Strength since its inception, from hiking mountains to donating music to the cause.

EVENT PARTICIPATION

Everest Rocks – hiked on Mount Everest and performed to fund the first mammography and internal radiation machines for the country of Nepal.

Peru Rocks – hiked and performed along the Inca Trail to fund a mobile cancer unit for the country of Peru.

Kilimanjaro Rocks – hiked and performed atop Mount Kilimanjaro to fund the first children’s cancer center in Tanzania.

Philly Rocks – performed atop the famed Rocky stairs to support Love Hope Strength’s national marrow registry program.

Pikes Peak Rocks – hiked and performed atop Pikes Peak in Colorado to support Love Hope Strength’s national marrow registry program.
