Matthew Mayfield has multiple placements on well known TV shows such as MTV, the CW and his single “First In Line” was featured on the 100th episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Matthew has been in the studio recording a new album the past few months. His music is soulful, heartfelt, gritty and addicting. A quote from his bio gives you some insight into what inspires him ” I was enamored with over-the-top rock stars that were pushy and unapologetic because they were that good. I was drawn to the weight and chops of Jimmy Page and Stevie Ray Vaughn, and the soul and grit of Bruce Springsteen and Eddie Vedder. I couldn’t get enough. As the fascination grew, I quickly started writing my own songs”. He is flying in from Alabama just for this special night.

David Ramirez has been writing and performing for over 10 years. From his teen years swapping songs with friends in Houston to the struggles of making a name for himself in Nashville, David’s songwriting journey has spanned multiple EP’s and a full-length, American Soil which garnered over 1,200 downloads in a 48-hr. period on Noisetrade. In 2010, David played 150 shows on numerous, independently booked tours. Feeling truly at home on the road, he calls his second home Austin, Texas. It’s here where he wrote and recorded his latest release, Strangetown EP. Check out David’s song “Shoeboxes” – a LiveVibe favorite.

• 5pm Arrive at Avebury Rocks
• Beef roast, BBQ, sandwiches, tea and beer (not necessarily in that order)
• 6pm Concert until 10pm
• 11pm Car Park locked

Cruiser Rocks is a fund-raising bike ride and pub crawl through the Washington Park neighborhood, benefiting the Denver-based LOVE HOPE STRENGTH Foundation. Held every June and October since 2007, Cruiser Rocks has grown into one of the most exciting outdoor events in Denver. Pump up your tires and join us for some bike riding fun!

FUN FACTS

• The ride is open to anyone 21 or over
• Any and all bikes are welcome (even unicycles!)
• Each rider gets a FREE “Cruiser Rocks” T-shirt
• The route will travel through Wash Park and surrounding neighborhood
• Donations are $35 per rider or $60 per rider pair through online registration.
• Cash or check donations are accepted on the day of the ride for $35 per rider.
