Apr 14, 2016 – Denver, CO – Love Hope Strength Foundation, the world’s leading rock and roll cancer charity, is proud to announce we will tour 4 nights with the ground-breaking English band, the Damned, starting April 14 thru 21 in California.
The Damned are one of the most influential punk groups, first coming together in 1976, and were one of the first bands to play in the goth genre, as well as influencing future hardcore punk bands with their fast-paced, energetic playing style and attitude. Along with the Sex Pistols and The Clash, they helped to spearhead the punk movement in the United Kingdom.
“We’re honored to have such an influential band like the Damned want to help us save lives, one concert at a time,” said LHS CEO Chris Brewer. “We also want to thank our co-founders Mike and Jules Peters for making this happen, it’s a great example of how artists and non-profits can work together for the greater good!”
Love Hope Strength will be working the Damned shows at:
Apr 14 – Great American Music Hall – San Francisco, CA
Apr 19 – Belly Up Tavern – Solana Beach, CA
Apr 20 – The Glass House – Pomona, CA
Apr 21 – The Roxy Theater – West Hollywood, CA
