For the past few years Alarm frontman Mike Peters and other musicians have made musical journeys to the summits of some of the world’s tallest mountains, all to benefit cancer charity Love Hope Strength. Now one of the bands that accompanied Peters to the top of Mt. Everest is doing a bit more to fight the disease.
The Fixx has released a new single – “Moving Mountains” – with all proceeds going to Love Hope Strength. Appropriately, the single was released on National Cancer Survivors Day, which traditionally takes place the first Sunday in June.
“Moving Mountains” was originally composed by Fixx members Cy Curnin and Jamie West-Oram during an LHS trek to the top of Kala Patthar at Mt. Everest. You can download the song from the Love Hope Strength website with all proceeds going to the charity organization. Just click here.
