A message from Mike and Jules Peters, Co-Founder of the Love Hope Strength Foundation
The past year has brought us many highs and a fair few lows, but one of the high points has to be Sahara Rocks. For Jules it was an unforgettable and magical challenge filled with camaraderie, incredible scenery and wonderful experiences. Despite not being able to go because of my ongoing treatment, it was also special for me, because we saw friends, family, fans of our music and so many other supportive folk come together to raise a phenomenal £100,000 to support Love Hope Strength, the Foundation we co-founded and which continues to be one of our greatest passions.
As I begin to feel more like my usual self, I’m keen for us to lead more treks here in North Wales and beyond in 2023.
After the success of Sahara Rocks we wanted to take on another strenuous challenge in new and different surroundings to provide a memorable trek for more adventure seekers. And so we have Rock the Alps in September 2023. Expect beautiful scenery – from stunning cliffs, to gorgeous waterfalls running from glaciers – as you trek through three countries in just three days: Italy, Switzerland and France.
There are options for you to fly from the UK or organise your own travel to join us in Geneva for what I know will be another epic Love Hope Strength challenge.
Whoever you are, wherever you’re from, if you’re motivated by doing something different and exploring the world, helping others, live music or all of these then Rock the Alps is for you. Come and join us! You are very welcome to be part of Love Hope Strength.
