The Rickshaw Run

OU Match the Miles (#OUmatchthemiles) is a charity project being conducted by the Ohio University Professional Masters in Sports Admin class of 2014.  Together, the PMSA ’14 class will conduct a two part project to generate awareness as well as fundraising for global cancer awareness, the development of global cancer centers and the growth of bone marrow databases across the globe in partnership with Love Hope Strength.

Here is how it works.  Part 1

The Rickshaw Run

January 1st – 14th, 2014

On January 1st, 2014, three members of the OU PMSA class of ‘14 will embark on a crazy adventure piloting a 7 horsepower rickshaw across the country of India.  The rally will take 14 days and will be an effort to raise awareness for the Love Hope Strength foundation. January 14th, 2014 – April TBD

On  January 15th, the rest of the OU PMSA class of ‘14 will begin the campaign #OUMATCHTHEMILES and will run, walk, jog, or ride 2,000 miles to match the efforts of the Rickshaw Run Bobcats.  The collective efforts will be a part of the PMSA ‘14’s contributions to the Race for  a Reason event.
